Choose a discoverable audience, create useful proof, and connect every channel to your game page.

Choose a reachable audience
“Everyone who plays games” is not a launch audience. Begin with a group that recognizes your game’s promise: fans of a subgenre, a co-op habit, a particular platform, or a mood. Describe their current alternative and why your game deserves a look.
Connect the discovery chain
Every channel should send people to a page that answers the next question. A short video can show the hook; the store page explains features and requirements; a community page supports questions; a ShowGame listing provides another clear discovery surface. Broken links, outdated art, and conflicting dates undo hard-won attention.
Build durable assets
Write helpful pages that answer player questions, capture real gameplay, and create a usable press kit. Unlike a single social post, these assets can be found later through search, links, and recommendations.
Review monthly
Track which source brings engaged players, which pages cause confusion, and which messages lead to follows or wishlists. Change one major element at a time. Discovery is a system of useful proof and clear paths—not a one-time promotional stunt.
