Make saying yes easy
A press kit is a reliable source folder for writers, creators, event organizers, and partners. Host it on a stable URL linked from your game website. Avoid gatekeeping the assets; the people who need them are usually working to a deadline.
Include the essentials
- One-sentence pitch, longer description, genre, platforms, release status, price, and supported languages.
- Developer bio, location only if you want to share it, and a direct press contact.
- Downloadable logo, key art, screenshots, trailer link, and a few approved gameplay clips.
- A short fact sheet: play modes, engine or technical notes if relevant, awards, and accessibility features.
Name files clearly and provide both web-friendly and print-ready art. Captions should identify the game and show real in-game moments.
Keep it current
Add a visible “last updated” date. Correctly label embargoes, work-in-progress footage, and review-code availability. Every public page—including your ShowGame profile—should use the same current name, description, and links. Consistency prevents small factual errors from spreading across search results and coverage.
